Right now I am running a Compaq with an AMD Athlon XP processor. It has 1 GB of memory. I usually use it for word processing, internet and
games. The games that I am playing right now are Heroes of Might and Magic III and Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.
Heroes of Might and Magic III is probably one of my all time favorite games. It is turn based strategy where you build a town and troops to take
out the opponent (usually a computer). You can play over the modem to play friends. That is usually pretty slow but is still fun.
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds is also a fun game similar to HMM3. I have been a big Star Wars fan since the first movie came out.
Onto other things. I have a diploma (but not certified A+) in computer repair. I usually do this for friends and family. Sometimes I charge and
if I do, it is pretty cheap.
Here is probably the best e-mailed newsletter that I subscribe to. It is free and it is also a pay service (only if you want to go that route though).
It has saved my butt a few times and the information given is very informative and written in "laymen's" language (for the most part).
It is spam-free as well as of course...free. Also included in this newsletter, you will usually find a link or two for free programs or links to
other information you might find useful!
